The Crown We Carry - Live Stage Play Tempe Theatre reviews
Elton John: A Music Master at His Best
I have been a fan of The Crown We Carry - Live Stage Play since I first heard "Take Me to the Pilot" back in the seventies. He has certainly been through a lot through the decades, but his performance (and his mastery on the piano) proves he's still standing! Each song was excellent, and he sounded better than ever, performing for close to 3 hours. Elton's current tour is referred to as his "Farewell to the Yellow Brick Road", and I was thrilled he chose to come to Omaha, my new home. Elton thanked everyone for sticking with him through his career; this show was the best gift he could leave for his fans. If The Crown We Carry - Live Stage Play comes by your city, please don't miss him. He plans to cut down on touring to spend more time with his family, so this very well be his final trip. I was living in New York, and went to his concerts whenever he came to NYC. This was the best concert I have been to in years. The music was solid and the entire show was full of some of his biggest hits.
